About Forum Komunikasi dan Konsultasi

The developments of industrial world at this time showed how difficult to establish communication and consultations between all the stakeholders (Universities, Industry, Regional Goverment, and the community). As a result, a unit that could solve this problem was really felt needed. Forum Komunikasi dan Konsultasi among stakeholders was expected to be able to give the right solllution toward this gap. The forum initiated by DIKTI (Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi), was being introduced for the first time in 2003 after so many suggestions from the stakeholders. As a results from the seminar and workshop that were held within that year, 4 Universities was choosen to be the Pilot Project to form and develop Forum Komunikasi dan Konsultasi among Universities, Industry, Regional Goverment, and the Community.

About BINUS Forum Komunikasi dan Konsultasi

Universitas Bina Nusantara through its unit BINUS CAREER was choosen as a pilot project to develop Forum Komunikasi dan Konsultasi among Universities, Industry, Regional Goverment, and the Community. The forum initiated by DIKTI was established since the level of graduate that’s being absorbed to industrial world, increasingly low. Every year the absorbency from the Industry, the Regional Goverment, and the community could not balancing with the number of graduates from the tertiary education institution who entered to the industrial world. The gap among stakeholders felt increasing. Therefore, the existence of a forum that could facilitate all the requirements from stakeholders was urgently needed. Universitas Bina Nusantara cooperated with DIKTI, developed this program in 3 years until December 2005.

1. To bridge the communication and consultation among all stakeholders (Universities, Industrial World, Regional Goverment, and Community)
2. To provide competence graduates that match the business world requirements
3. To facilitate all the stakeholders in order to create any good cooperation in near future
4. To maintain the relation among the stakeholders
